Pictures from the day.

Buddy's quad.

My quad was in pretty much the same predicament but I didn't get a picture.

Later, on another trail some leftist beaver decided to put an end to ATVing.

Evidence showing it was deliberate.

He looks stuck. When was this?

Thanks Moose, Doug gets all the credit.

It was the perfect day and the perfect trail.

We had a blast.

Was a March 2015 ride in NH. The one I described at the start of the thread. Last couple of winters haven't had a ton of snow. Got off pretty easy other than trees breaking from wet snow on them.

I actually plow all the trails with my AC Turbo Diesel. Set the blade about 8" to a foot , the snow sled guys are happy and I don't get stuck. However, you don't want to get stuck with a plow on, as the winch is already hooked to the plow. I have a 72" plow, but a V plow would be perfect. Sled guys are happy to have me groom the trails, because I bring my chainsaw, big snow can bring down big trees, no doubt about it!

We don't plow any of the ATV trails. We do however groom bigger trails for the snowmobiles.

This is my winter job. We didn't get enough snow this year to even take the snowcat out once.

We had snow up on top but nothing down low and you can't unload the cat in dirt.

These last two winters have been relatively easy on us other than the wet snow storm that broke lots of trees this year. Depth-wise was pretty sparse. Get the feeling New England is going to get blasted this winter. That's good by me. I'm going to be 150' from a lake so I get to bomb up and down a 4 mile or so long lake. May even be able to ride in the NH State Park if conditions allow it.

I'm hoping for some good snow storms too.

It would be nice to work this winter. Besides, its a brand new snowcat.
