atv to rhino? this thing can do donut?
Hello all im not going to buy soon but if i do i want to know how much fun i can have with a rhino 660-700
I like the small size and the fact that i can put thing on the back i ride with some people..
but powerwise i know the grizzly is underpowered so what to expect from the same engine with 2x the size...
Clutch mod
28" maxxis zilla or 30" will be on it it will be a play machine most if it life... no real hard work except some tree hauling..

Hop you doing well.As my knowledge..Yamaha Rhino was recently published the news about Yamaha atv..They claimed that all the accidents were merely user error and insisted the Rhino was safe. Some things Keep in your mind always, when you riding your atv in moutain areas and If you are in a situation where the vehicle is tipping over, do not put your arm or leg outside the vehicle to try to stop it. You could be severely injured.
Best luck.
Best luck.

My friends 660 Grizzly does 60mph all day long if on a gravel straight road.
I could not even open up my old 350 Grizzly on our rough narrow trails.
I rode a new 700 Rhino but I just do not like the feel of SXS there just to bulky and clumsy , we even had to leave a SXS behind because the trail got to narrow and twisty on a section on one of our fishing trips.
The SXS guy had to jump on the back of a ATV to get the rest of the way to the lake.
I just like riding up high "on" something much better then down low "in" something.

I've never owned a side by side but it seems like you would lose the connection with the machine like on an atv. They're so big and heavy that you can't manuver them with your body. And you can't fit them places where an atv can go. Never mind getting them stuck, winches should be standard equipment on all side by sides. If you ride on tight trails, sometimes they just won't fit. I owned a 660 Grizzly before and yes 60+ mph is attainable if you have enough open road. It just takes a long time to get there. The Grizzly accelerates pretty well up to about 50 mph then it kind of hits a wall and struggles to pick up speed after that. It probably takes longer to get from 50 to 60 than it did to get from 0 to 50.
