Default A-arms getting scratched bad! What's the best fix?

My A-arms are getting chipped and scratched down to the metal. What's the best way to refinish them?

Should I take them to a place to be powdercoated?

Thanks for the help.

2 things you can do is get it powder coat and put a-arm plate on it. PRM does made it. Give them a call to find out if they make for your bike.

good luck getting a powdercoater to do your a-arms, you have to remove everything inside of the a-arms or it will melt in the oven, then your screwed, if you do get powdercoat, get someone who knows atv a-arms. The prob with powder coat is that it is not cheap, and also if you do chip them and scratch them up, there are no touch ups, and your stuck with it unless you re-powdercoat, i would use a high quality spray paint, then you can touch them up when they get scratched looking. .02

To re-powder coat them, they have to take it back to bear metal again, don't they?

i did this when i wanted my skid plates to match cause they were aluminuma and my bike it black. I just spray painted them with krylon. Surprisingly, its a perfect match. You cant tell the difference unless you look really hard so maybe you can find a can to match. I used the ultra flat black.

I don't think it's possible to powdercoat the a-arms because it will ruin the ball joint. The upper is aluminium and will polish up real nice.

You can, but it is very difficult and it is possible for the powdercoater to reck your a-arms if he doesn't really know what he is doing. I was going to Powder Coat mine but it was to much work so i used hammerite, not the best for a-arms, i suggest rust-oleam. (if that is how you spell it.lol)
