Loose Handlebars on new Kodiak 450

Default Loose Handlebars on new Kodiak 450

I've Had it for 2 weeks, Whats the best fix,Back to dealer?

Default Loose Handlebars on new Kodiak 450

Loose at the lower shaft with large nut and clip thingy

take off the clip thingy (aka cotterpin) and tighten the nut with a wrench or ratchet. Then put the clip thingy back in, after you put the clip thingy back in the nut should not be able to move anyway so I don't know how it got loose in the first place,

Thanks!That did the trick. My Buddy said yamaha should have use a "castle nut" insted of a plain metric bolt.

there should defiantly be a castle nut on there in the first place, from the factory. Even my 92 warrior had one there. You can get castle nuts at most automotive or home appliance stores, or yamaha
