raptor tires?

Hey fellas I'm looking for a tire that is good for trails, i never ride dunes, although I have yet to find a local mx track, would also like a tire that would respond well to mx also. Should I stay with the 20" tires or up it? What benefits come with buying a bigger tire? TIA!

I have had a set of 20x10x9 Bandit A/T for like a year and a half. They wore just great on everything. They didnt have great side bite that you needed in the leaves but overall i liked them. i am sure if you got the XC, it would last even longer. If you do a lot of trail riding, you def want to have a good skid plate cause where the tire has some flat tread it will lower your ground clearance. I have recently bought some Maxxis Razr 2 but really havent had a chance to give my personal exsperience with them, BUT looks wise, i dont see nothing wrong with them. So its jsut what fits you and your style.

we have plenty of sharp rocks here and i kept getting flats on those stockers...so got holeshot XCT. they are 6 ply, stiff as hell, 23"front, 22" rear. went down one tooth on the front sprocket, softened the suspension. the tippiness is gone. now its a slider, like my blaster. and no more &*^# flat tires!
there are plenty of choices out there, this is just what i chose and am happy with the purchase. shop around! and try and buy a package, i.e., tires already mounted on wheels, the way to go! thenyer stockers are ready to go for softer soils, tracks, sand.
you may want to go with a 20" rear, i chose the talls cuz of the rocky terrain....

I tired them Razr 2's out today, and i am bought on them. They bite where my bandits never did. Actually they got more bite than i probably need, and not only that, they look sweet, no doubt about it. A man cant go wrong with a set of Maxxis Razr 2's. They are 6 ply, all kinds of bite and look sweet on the raptor!!

So what are the options of tires that can be put on the stock wheels to save money. Funny that this was brought up almost a year later.
