Would it be a good idea to go with a 9" diameter rear wheel/tire combo on a Blaster, rather than the 8" stock? I'm thinking it would help sidewall flex because of the lower profile tire. Anyone know if I will have a problem with clearance when going with a 11" width Maxxis Razor when mounted on a Douglas wheel?

No I recilenty mounted 12" wide tires on my 97 blaster and it rides ok.

I HAVE STOCK BANSHEE RIMS WHITH 20x11x9 SHREDDER
TIRES ON MY BLASTER. LESS SIDEWALL FLEX + PLENTY CLEARANCE |
that will work great u would have trouble with the 20x11x8 on stock rims but not on douglas, i would go for the 9 or 10s when i get new wheels/tires im getting 10sa
