Getting off a KX250 and getting on a banshee to beat my raptor
my cousin just bought a 2000 banshee with fmf pipes and motor work done. He was telling how now he can smoke my raptor now. But
when we raced about 50 yards I beat him by 3-4 quad lengths. And then he tells me that he could out run me on top end. then we took
it to a road and i out ran him on top end also. Why? My dad has been into quads for a long time he had a quadsport 250 he said his
banshee should stomp my raptor. How come I beat him in every way.
Also were the same weight.
He used to ride a kx 250 and i always out ran him and he bought this thinking he could take me.

I can only say one thing about a fourwheeler vrs a dirtbike. Theres no way in the world anybody is going to beat any kind of newer 250cc 2stroke dirtbike on any stock fourwheeler. and to beat a 250 dirtbike your going to need some big motor mods. MY dads 99 yz 250 can eat my warrior badly, and yea i could put a new rear sprocket on and have more top speed than him but if it take me 5 minutes to get there, there isnt any use in having it any kind of terrain loose, or hard, up hills, down hills, around turns, ANYTHING if theres any quad out there that beats a 250 badley i want to see it

I weigh 240lbs and I out ran a 01 rm 250 with a 190lb rider..........u can see my mods in my sig..........the rm had a pipe, jets, and a filter..........it was real close until I hit 5 gear and I just extended the gap between us...............
