yea, that's understandable, but with so many 01 owners out there you'd think something could be done.....

 

I bet your about right, so far 1-2 of every 10 I bet has had problems.

 

Just don't buy their junk....plain and simple. Everyone knows that Yamaha will not stand behind their product so why take the chance. I will NEVER buy one of their products again and I would advise others to do the same.

yamaha makes the fastest quads, look @ the banshee its been around since '88 and its still dominating, now they got the rappy and the yz450f, i have a 2001 raptor it makes a weird noise going into reverse sometimes but it hasnt "blown up" or major malfunction or anything like that but still its rediculous how they are not even trying to help!

I have had mine for over two years and I have all ready gotten my fun value out of it.

Gotta give props to that site! I printed out some of the pages to make sure I was doing everything correct when I tore into the Top End of my Wife's Raptor.
