new yamaha 450,great bike,looks good but did beat it in sand drag at winchester dunes. 450 was stock as is my 520ktm in wtec aftermarket frame.won by 2 bike lengths but 2wks later raced 450 with k+N filter,rejeted,no core in muffler. that race dead even.lots of hiden hp in 450and price not bad.will see if honda did as good a job soon. go to winchester often on mon,tue, wed,live canby,oregon allways looking for riding partners. anyone out there able to go on those days?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I live in Clackamas, but only have weekends off. But...there's a guy in my club (see link below) that lives in Oregon City, and I believe his days off are Monday and Tuesday. Post a message on our forums...I'm sure you'll find some locals to ride with.

love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! best handling, riding 4-stroke had so far. got 440 LRD kit in Z400 with
Denton plus2, plus 1 A-arms, tcs shocks, refiltered, rejetted, yosh pipe, good, but wtec better.
have had raptor, ds650, 2-modified 400ex's, still love wtec better for power, wheelies, sidehilling, speed. handles trails well, but must concentrate 52 inches wide.
stock engine and muffler wtec filter, rejetted 175 to 195 main.

Just thought I would let you know that the YFZ450 will be going head to head with 520 and 525 KTM's in W-Tec chassis's at the greatest race in the world Pont de Vaux in france on 23-25th August. The top W-Tec team will use the 525 KTM engine and will be from the ATV World/Duncan Racing team- piloted by top british riders Richard Cole (PDV winner in 1999), David Baldwin and Lyndsey Duke. The ATV World/Duncan Racing Team are entering an ultra trick YFZ 450 prepared by Loren Duncan and piloted by Top National MX rider Travis Cain, Chad Lohr and British Enduro champion Paul Rowlands. ATV World/Duncan Racing will be also entering their world famous PDV winning Laeger Banshees piloted by Doug Eichner and Paul Mitchell (currently 2nd in Brit MX champ) and the second bike piloted by Waggot and Masson. It will definitly be interesting to see how the W-Tec runs against the 450 and banshee, in the 2nd year of entry into PDV as three W-Tecs finished in the top 10 in the rookie appearancce last year. eraserman did you race anyone while at dunefest. It kinda hard to tell how they run by just watchin and followin ya up the hill.
