I have a 94 blaster(only mod is a uni filter) that runs real good most of the time, but when i get almost wide open in 6th gear, it starts spuddering and running like crap. It wont go above much more than idle after that. Today i had to ride home a mile in 3rd gear with the clutch halfway in. I think this might be the jetting but i am not really sure.

if it is shooting plugs (fouling)it more than likly is jetting and if you`r is like mine it`s oiled fould (black plug) and since it is a 94 you should go ahead and take off the injector

You are probably jetted too rich.

Take it too a good dealer and have them check your jetting.

i have a 98 blaster and i had the same problem. I used the yamalube oil and i switched to maxima and the problem stopped. My blaster has fmf pipes and silencer, Renthal Bars, wiseco piston, boyesen reeds, dg skids, shredder tires, motion pro twist trottle, and cometic gaskets.
