Since the new dune season is rapidly approaching, I need some new paddles. What do all you big bore owners recommend for my 60-ish RWHP stock-carbed Raptor? I want to be competitive at the Hill. But they also need to be fully duneable.

Side note: I'm running 22x8x10 Razor's in the front and I have a +4.5" swingarm.

Are you planning on doing flat drag, 300 feet, 660 feet, or hill shooting?

If you are doing hillshooting, I would suggest 22-12-8 8 paddle extreme haulers. If you are doing 300 feet I would go with 10 paddle 22-12-8 extreme haulers. If you are doing the longer 660 foot drag I would go with a 22-12-8 8 paddle extreme hauler. I am not making 60 hp, so I think I am going to get 21-12-8 extreme 8 paddle haulers.

22-11-8 double buff extreme paddles with 8 maybe 9 paddles. 8 paddles being a little better for flat longer drags and 9s better for short flat drags or hills.JMO

True, sixsixt, I am sure you know more than me.

I agree, though, I forgot to say the double buffs would be very good.

Same thing, bead to beads 22-11-8 w/8, but not an extreme. I think the shape of the tire is better plus I "think" it weighs less.

I would go with 22-11-8 skat trak haulers. Our previous >60 hp bike ran the best with that setup. I have not been to the dunes yet with the 686 but that is what I'll start with.

Do the make a 22 that fits on a 6 inch rim? Smallest I have heard of is 8 inch.
