I like my blaster alot. Sure I would love to have a rappy or banshee or a z400 or a yfz but I still like what I have. There are alot of kids out there that would love to have any quad but due to over protective parents they don't get the opportunity to have a quad. How many 14 year old kids that aren't rich have a better quad? I have made up my mind that I don't have to upgrade quads just because there are faster ones out there. There will always be faster quads out there. I can still jump and do wheelies like other higher performance sport quads. It might be an air cooled 195cc two stroke but it gets the job done.

glad to see a mature post for a 14 year old instead of posting yamaha bashes on the yamaha forum . by the way i believe exactly what you say there will always be a faster quad somewhere so just try to enjoy the sport and be happy with what you have

I think the blaster is one of the most underrated quads ever as far as fun factor. My buddy had one and I really liked it, that thing was a peppy little bi!ch and nothing ever came loose or broke. He just sold it and got a raptor last year. He's 29.

Im getting one for my boy when he is old enough, he's 10 so it should be soon, he will definitely fit.

the blaster is a great bike, i love mine, and for someone that young, a blaster will definately be powerful enough, maybe too much, good idea to wait a couple years. im gonna sell mine pretty soon though, its a great bike, but its just not powerful enough for me, i have 7 years of atving experience and i just need a little more, so im going for a shee sometime next year.

hey good to see a fellow mature teenager. i'm 15 now and just had a blaster last year it was a fun little machine. i totally aggree with u i'm sure there's lots of kids out there that wish they had a blaster or any quad/dirt bike for that matter. but yah there's 2 many immature 12-16 year olds on here that make us look bad. and how true no matter how fast u think u are there is someone faster. its all about having fun.

im 16, almost 17, and i love my blaster. it does everything i need it too. my 12 year old cousin is all bent out of shape because my blaster beats his 250ex so he wants a 400ex but the guy at the dealership wont sell them one because he knows that a 12 year old will be driving it. he always telle me "my 400ex will beat your blaster even if it is stock" then i ask him if thats the only reason he wants it.

i dont know why i put that, oh maybe to due with the maturity level thing... anyway i could use a bit more power but the blaster is great (besides im still paying for it )
