Want to up the cc's on the Raptor. Where and what?

Hi, my raptor is 3 years old and has to have a few hundred hours on it. I'm just guessing. It has been riden hard alot of times. She's starting to loose it's poop. I want to maybe go with the 686 kit. Any ideas on who does the best work and how much it would cost? Or, any other ideas? thanks

If it is a 2001 replace the tranny while you are in there!

Just my opinion but, if I were to build a high HP engine I would want to know the tranny would not explode just after the build.

Options:
Craycraft offers good power at a very reasonable price with fast turn-around and good service (you can call with questions.)
I have heard of many issues lately at Trinity (lost engines, not tuned well, poor call-backs)
Sam Coe (not really known for the Raptor but, just wanted to say. . . DON"T GO TO THESE GUYS!)
Duncan - seems to have a kit together but, the price listed doesn't include everything.
Sparks - arguable the fastest bikes. You may have to get on a waiting list to get their 690
Do it yourself - you can have a local shop bore your jug and re-sleve it for the 686 and maybe get Sparks, Trinity or Craycraft to do the headwork. Purchase a piston, rings, etc. and make your own kit.

Yes, if it's an 01 by all means upgrade the tranny.
