Raptor lock-up clutch
How many people would be intrested in having a lock-up clutch on there Raptor? There is nothing available right now, but that might change come Monday. I am trying to get some kind of count so when I talk to the guy I can give him some kind of # of people intrested.
Anybody?

I don't know a price yet, but its not a super cheap mod. It requires having to mod your clutch cover to make room for the lock out mechanism on the out side of the clutch basket. As far as I know this will be the first one so that may add to the expense as well.
As far as riding habits goes, not really. It makes it where your clutch won't slip, or only a set amount of slip. I am not an expert on them, but I know I need something to keep my clutch together before it breaks again.

bad350twin, I know of a few people who have shattered fibers on more than one occasion. I don't really know of any other way to keep this from happening. I don't think any of them are pushing 80 hp, I know I am not.
Ernie, I may be misunderstanding how a lock up works then. I didn't realise you would have to start at wide open throttle. I do that most of the time, but I don't know if I really want to be required too.
