Tech 8 - no competition ! I wish I would have gotten them long ago but I played the cheap boot game for many years.......worth every penny.

 

I have a pair of Sidi boots and I love them. They are the Sidi All Traks i got them pretty cheap too. They were regular $200 and i got them for like $130. They are very comfortable and have saved my ankles plenty of times. Sidi makes some bada$$ boots that have this pivoting ankle system that bends forward a backward easily to allow the wearer to shift or use the foot brake easily and it is very stiff side to side to offer very good protection. I didn't like the tech 8s...Too stiff for my taste...When I ride it's an all day+eve outing ...I need something with a little comfort...Like my Matterhorn metatarsal miners boot...Very comfy...waterproof... and FREE thanks to A.T. Massey Coal[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
With my injuries I can't stand the MX boots...They are probably great for you guys that race[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

Yeah, the tech 6's are pretty stiff too and there kind of on the heavy side.

 

I like my thor boots....seem to hold up well (two seasons now) ....I had fox for one season and they were junk after that...the thors were cheaper, better sole and more water resistant than the fox boots.

Turkey Trackers, are nearly knee high, waterproof, very comfortable and bout $120-$130 at Wynns sporting goods.
