When I got boots 2yrs ago, i went cheap and got oneal m-890's. They are okay, but I am hating the plastic buckles, as occasionally they come undone during a race, and the ankle has alwas been excessively stiff, and they always rub the skin off the transition bet. my foot and leg where it scrunches in rider position. What are some good and comfortable racing boots to upgrade too? Does more $$$ = better comfort?

 

I have a pair of Fly Racing boots. They are ok. But my all time fav's are....Rocky Bear Claw steel toed.

I work in them.....

I ride in them.....

I hunt in them.....

They are awesome.

 

Alpinestars Tech 8

Hands down the best, most comfortable boot I have ever owned. A little pricey but well worth the extra dough.

 

i like my thor t-30s but they tend to gett loose after awhile i woudl go w/ Ap. Tech 6s.


by the way pudljmper- hows the yfz holdin up? been to bluff laty?

Do you guys think having the "ATV sole" or all terrain sole makes any difference?

 

Without a doubt Alpinestars Tech 8. I have had Fox, Oneal and haven't had or seen a better boot than the Alpinestars !

 

When I bought boots, I tried a pair of Tech 8's and they were nice. I ended up getting the Tech 6's though because they were a little cheaper. I had AXO RC-4's before and like the Tech 6's much better.

 

My Work Sport Steel Toe (Black) Very nice boot! Ride in em,and uh yeah work too heheh. Very good boot very comfortbale.

 

I like the Alpinestar Tech 6's also.........
