Yeah, but will they hold up to mud, water, and nastly trail conditions. Plus, I think that vibrations would eventually destory them. But, if you just use it to putt around at the dunes, then it shouldnt be a problem

There is a company that makes the sound system and you have to use an mp3 player cause a cd player skips way too much. I forget the company name though.

We have experimented with quite a few stereos over the years. Mostly with used auto units. We would use CD players thet wouldn't play CDs just for the radio. Radio was all we were ever interested because of the great reception back in the mountians. We usualy would built some kind of wooden box to mount the headpiece and speakers. Would cover them untill we were stopped. The best, well the one that has held up the longest is my pals that is mounted inside a hard plastic gun case. Its waterproof and has foam on the inside to absorb the bouncing around. Wh we stop he can just raise the lid and we got tunes or the race or game. This works fine for us but if ya want to jam while your riding along you may want to look into those stereos that are made for boats. We have often wanted to try one of those but its hard to put a couple hundred in something thats probably gonna get ruined. Good luck with what ever ya try.
