Razor 2's or Kenda Klaws for Raptor??
 

I am going to be purchasing some new tires (front and back)in a few months before the summer comes back, and i cant decide whether to get the Razor 2's or the kenda Klaws. I ride in absoluetly evrything, sand pits, hard pack, soft pack, mud, rocks, ......slow and fast riding, like i said evrything u can imagine I ride "except" for DUNES. From experience what would be better for me. Ill be staying with the stock tire size too..22" up front and 20" in the rear.

i heard the razor 2's are a pretty ruggid tire, and there the best out there now, they last longer and give the best traction..they sound good for what you plan to use them for, i dont know that much about the kenda claws tho.

21's are the stock front size.


And the Razr 2's are a awesome tire. I ran them for over a month before selling them for the mud machines, and they performed flawlessly.


A buddy of mine has the kenda klaws on a 400ex, but they don't perform like the razr 2's.

Both good tires though.

Both are good tires, but the Klaw fronts are only 4ply, but the Razor2's are 6ply. If you ride in rocks, you want a 6ply tire.

I want to try the Razr II's as well. They got a real good review & also won the best product award or something like that. Rugged & provide good traction from what I hear too. They are big $$$ though, worth it if they last though!

I wanted to try some razor 2s but I talked myself out of it.........I ended up ordering turf tamers 18/11/8 yesterday.........

I had some razors and they didn't have NEAR enough forward traction..........maybe the razor 2's do.....?

The Razr 2 are not very good. I had them on my 250R for three hours, then I sold them. They filled with mud. Did not move in grass. They did work good on a dry trail. But every where else they stink. I run the Klaws now and have had them on for about four months now and they work very good.

I have had the klaws on the rear for about a month and love them. They hook good but you can also still break them loose in the corners if you want. Havent tried running them for backwards yet but running them for hard pack they have hooked up on everything.
