ITP 589's 27-11-12 on all fours?

Need some good advice before I make a possible mistake. I am about to purchase a 2004 Grizzly and want to put these tires are. What are the advantages and disadvantages of putting this tire all the way around opposed to using the smaller size on the front. Thanks in advance for all the helpful hints.

John

A friend of mine has those on all four corners on his 02 Grizz, they work and fit just fine

you HAVE to put the same height on both ends. No bigger rear, smaller front. It'll screw up your drivetrain.

you should be fine with them. I was going to get the 589's also, but I'm not really into mudbogging, so I got the Mudlites. Similar to the 589's, but a little lighter and more all terrainish (if that makes sense) Check my sites for pics of mine.

I have only been stuck with them once, and I was into some DEEP ruts

I think he meant as opposed to the skinnier 27x9x12s that usually are matched with the 27x11x12s for the rear.

Pertaining to the question, I'm not sure about on a Grizz. There's definately a lot of room in the fenderwell, but turning might be more difficult. Good luck.

The 27-11-12 will rub on the inside frame when turning realy sharp, just put some spacers on the front. Might want to look in getting bigger fender flares, the tire is going to stick out either way and hose you.AlaskaBoy.
