eh, I finally took my banshee engine apart to find a mess. Yesterday it lost compression and locked up on me, and I knew something serious happened. Apparently the top of the piston above the top ring broke off and the shrapnel chewed the crap out of the inside of my left cylinder walls, the worst being right above the exhaust port. But of course, my right cylinder is fine. I priced out a new bore + pistons and all that good stuff at Tony Dutkas Racing for about 190-200 bucks. Does anyone know where I can get it cheaper? If so, please get at me!

did it seize? (you said it locked up.. is that what you meant?) if so check your crank... that may be shot too... a new one of those isnt cheap.. prolly around 300-500... or you can get yours rebuilt.
