best place to buy c-series wheels for grizz

Just talked to my dealer and he said he would let me have a set of 25" itp mudlites on c-series wheels for $480.00 mounted and balanced. Is this a good deal? If i went with 26" would there be a power lose? Also, he said the book showed to get the same size for the back as you do the front. Does that sound right?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It is absolutely essential that you get the same sized (diameter) tires on a 4x4 capable machine, because when in 4x4 mode all wheels will be turning at the same rate. If you have different sized tires, the larger diameter tires will be trying to cover more ground than the smaller diameter ones since they are turning at the same RPM (assuming you are going in a straight line) and that puts a lot of undue stress on your drivetrain.
The tire price you were quoted by your dealer is reasonable. I paid more than that for the 25” ATRs on C-Series that I got from my dealer.
About tire size and power, theoretically a smaller diameter tire will put more power to the ground because that is the same as “gearing down” your machine (although only by a minute amount). Also many aggressive tread brands will increase the tread depth of their tires when they go beyond the 25” size (as do the Mud Lites), giving you more biting power in muddy or other loose conditions (and also take more effort on the part of your quad to spin).
On the positive side, with larger tires you gain more ground clearance and it is slightly easier to roll over large objects. On the negative side it raises your center of gravity which makes you more susceptible to tip-overs…

check ebay. I got my tires for under 300 shipped. I think you can get a full set w/ C-series for around 580 or so.
