Default aftermarket rod installation cost.

Does anyone know what it cost to have an aftermarket rod installed in the raptor?

Default aftermarket rod installation cost.

I was also curious if most shops can install the rod or does it take a special place to do the labor since the crank has to be balanced.

Default aftermarket rod installation cost.

I just had a small home town shop install a Carrilo rod for me. I brought them just the block with no cylinder.

Carrilo rod=200
crank pin=30
bearing=20
gaskets=10
rebuild crank/balance=50
labor=200
--------------------------
total=510

trust me raptorowner they dont get no better than falicon,they guarntee a smoother idle and do a superior job...
If there is any better then let me know,and i considered the local shop(vance and hines) but i looked at the diffrence in shops and steps they take to get it right and falicon goes thru 3 or 4 steps to balance the rod and get it right the first time,there has to be some diffrence in quality when they charge 50 for the balancing and falicon charges 200..jmo

do a google search on faliconan and see the site and read up,look at how technical they get with balancing a rod and the steps they go thru,im sending mine there..
