Default Blaster Tire Questions

My stock blaster tires were 21-10-8. I just bought some 20-11-8 Maxxis Razrs. The Razrs dont fit on the rear hubs... How do all you people get it to fit yours? Should I try switching the Maxxis Razrs onto the old stock ones instead of the douglas's? Or should I just invest in some new, larger hubs. If thats the case, where can I get some new hubs that fit the stock axle. I'm kinda tight on money here. Please help me out here. Just to clear things up to me, tell me exactly what each number in the dimension measurements mean. (Ex. 20-11-8 20=Tire Diameter, ETC.) Thank You!

do you mean the RIMS dont fit on the hubs? if that is the case, than they are the wrong size for your Blaster. you should iether put the tires on the original rims like i did with mine. but than the tires with come clost to the heel-guard and rub it on turns. Hubs can be expensive, you might just want to buy offset alluminum rims that the tire will fit on (8x8) and that way the tire will fit on the rim, the rim will fit on the hubs...and the offset will space the tire from the heel-guard a little more.

and tire sizes are as fallows........20-11-8 means 20=tire-height, 11=tire width, and 8 is the rim height.

wanaply21.... did you mean all 4 tires for under 200? in that case, Titan fast-trekkers are good tires for the price. same with Kenda Klaws... both are around 40 to 50$ each for the rears, and around 35-40 each for fronts depends on size. so id say you could get 4 tires for somewhere around 200 shipped and not much more, if not less? here is a good place to buy tires from, good prices and tech support as well.

If the rims dont fit the hubs try getting some new hubs. Blaster rims are 4/100.
Find out what your rims are and then see if you can get a set of hubs to match. Most of the yamaha's can swap hubs on stock axles. Check out a banshee. They are 4/115. If your rims are this size then you might be able to get stock hubs alot cheeper.

I bought holeshots also. I got 18-10-8 and 21-7-10 mxr's. I paid $225 at nacsracing.com. They hook up great except for on snow. Also, say you have 10-8 rims, can you put 11-8 tires on them?
