My girlfriends little brother wants a 400ex and i told him they didnt have reverse so he called honda and asked them he was just telling me that the new ones have it are they jerkin his chain?

No reverse. The 2004 is the smae as the 1999

No info for the 2005 models have been released by Honda yet. That will not happen till September.
