FCR'S or Edelbrock for Raptor

I was just looking to upgrade and was woundering if anybody has any thoughts on what the best bang for the buck is going to be.
I have curtis sparks pipe, cam, springs, piston (stock bore and 10.75:1 ) and some mild port work. Any help would be appreciated.

I would spend the money on the FCR's. The FCR's are more proven than the Edelbrock setup and they should perform better. If you get the FCR's I think you will be more satisfied in the long run ecspecially if you ever upgrade to get more out of your Raptor. I'm sure there are some people who like the Edelbrock but in my opinion once you dial the FCR's in you'll never look back; they are worth the extra money you will spend for them. Slim

Thanks for the info. I was also woundering what the intake mods were from craycraft and if it would be worth the money to do a 686 at 12:1? I all ready have 10.75:1 but it's stock bore. Need more power alot more I got spanked by a 440EX last weekend and I'm not very happy about it. The rider of the honda weighs 120 and I'm 215lbs. Starting to wounder if I got what I paid for "local porting"!

Anyone can port a head, just where to remove material there is just a hand full. Jerry Craycraft of Craycraft racing is very good, the best I have seen.

FCR's is the only way to go, JMO

Do you think that craycraft could improve my already ported head, what about the 686 worth the money?

I ran the same setup minus the porting, I've never had 440's come close. Which cam are you running? porting can do great things to an engine, if done right. The weight difference between rider would make a huge difference, but you should have still beat the ex.

Give me a couple weeks and I'll let you know how the 686 runs.
