stand for my raptor
The craftsman stand only requires about 4 inches to get under the quad....it has a foot pump so you can stop it at any time or height.
The 3 position locking they talk about is just a bar that can be latched at 3 seperate heights for extended lift use. You have the option of using it or not.
So far the lift has been great for my usage....I lift the quads and my dual sport with no problems. Very little wobble and the quad balances well. The lift also comes with straps if your nervous that your quad will be tippy once placed on the lift.
The only down side is that the lift itself is kinda heavy....somewhere around 70 lbs if I remember right. But a plus is that it is on wheels and has a handle....so if your garage floor is flat and crack free..you can spin or move the quad in a snap.
It does get in the way for an oil change though ........I guess if your creative with an oil catch can, you will still be able to do it.
And as mentioned above...you can use 2x4's or the like if you need more height.
