Default Raptor Nerf Bar/Shifter Question

Just put a new set of AC Pro Peg nerf bars with heel guards on my '04 Raptor. I find that it is hard to get my boot under the shifter with the new pegs. Has anyone else experienced this? I rotated the linkage one tooth back on the shift shaft and everyting seems to be ok. Any problems with this?

Thanks for the help.

Not a problem as long as it shifts. I would go with a direct shifter if you have some cash. JMO

I had the exact same problem and went with a Pro-Design shifter. It is direct and nuetral is easier to find. It also feels way more solid thru the shifts.

Where did you pick up that Pro-Design shifter? Sounds like the one I need since you have the same equipment.

I got mine from RockyMountain, it is billet and it looks nice. I think it is like 70 bucks.

Default Raptor Nerf Bar/Shifter Question

Thanks a bunch for the help. I'll have to grab this one. I was looking at the GYT-R shifter, but it seems that the roller design won't work once it gets clogged with mud. Does this shifter rplace the stock linkage or does it use the linkage as well?
