Im not sure what bars those are. I see them a lot on the real fast banshee's.

 

I raced that guy out there this morning. he whooped on me. His holeshot was amazing. He beat me by 15+lengths. Very impressive whatever it is.

Steven, Do you guys ride at PC often. I'm in your area and don't ride much local.

 

The 686 was in their camp too and they had a drag shee. All of them were smokin fast and setup to drag - ultra lights, no front brakes etc

I was getting around 42-44 mph up comp hill (gps) and he was beating me by at least 5 quad lengths. I dont think another YFZ was within 5 of me out there - even the ones with 100lb pilots.

It had all the common mods and a few others. He told us that he plans on adding nitrous soon. I guess he usually rides Pismo so someone might recognize his bike??

 

I have been to pc before. Dont ride there much though.

 

LOL!!! I think I may know this guy. He was telling me he was going to buff everything out on his YFZ. He usually rides a different bike everytime he is at Pismo, he has a super fast banshe, 250r, YFZ and sold his fast z400. If its the same guy yes he does his own mods to his bikes. He may be at Pismo this Saturday the 10th back at the drags. I will look for him this time and compare it to my buddies Mr Horsepower DS720.

 

its not buffed. All of the pieces were sent in to get chromed. He even chromed the bolts.

 

Man, that YFZ looks mean and wicked fast, I would really love to see that thing in action. It doesnt look like he has anything major done to it, but it looks scary fast from all that chrome [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Still there are those that have a hard time believeing that a YFZ can be made to go as fast and faster than 686 Raptors. A simple cam mod, air filter, removed air box lid, pipe and jets and the YFZ is as fast as most of the avg 686's. It is what it is.

This particular YFZ has been weight reduced even more than stock, different swing arm. Light weight paddles etc. Probably upped the compression etc as well. Who knows what else. Stricktly put together to kick some butt in drag races for sure.

 

That is the same 450 that was hanging with my uncles 727!! He just told me about it yesterday when I went to help out at his private quad dealer yesterday. I saw the pic before and I saved it on my camera phone so I can show it too him. He told me thats the 450 he was talking about, and he said it was beating most all of the bikes out there, and he doesnt even have a big bore kit installed in it yet. That 450 is extremely impressive from what Ive heard and its definately got the looks to top it all off.
