yup..enforcer is right sometimes you dont know what the hell you will get on ebay, and those clowns will tell you, its like brand new never rolled and all kinda of crap..untill you get it......guy ...want a shee...see it before you buy it.....and in person...especially if you dont know about these bikes....take someone who knows about these bikes, but be carefull for all kinda scams.............but i love my shee....i ride with hiram..boy he let me ride his bike once and thats was it.....i was hook like a crack head......the sweetest ride you can get..............

Default Buy a new banshee need advice!

If you want new I'd wait til the 05's come out. You can usally pick up a hold over modle for cheaper then a new released one. SO you get the same bike for cheaper but is called a different year. I got the LE for 6,000 otd and could get the other 2 colors for 5,800, I had to have the black oh well. But each area is different. DONT buy the extended warenty. Just buy insurance for the money. They offered me 6 months extended for extra $800. Hell you could rebuild 2 maybe 3 topends for that much. Insurance covers theft and if you screw it up they'll cover it.

Well, that must have been a dealer warranty because Yamaha dose not offer an extended warranty for the Banshee.

how much is the insurance? is it monthly or just one lump sum? is that a yamaha thing or a dealership thing?

I dont know what the heck it was. But it was a rip off.

I pay 250 a year for $6500 of coverage. Protects from theft too. Not bad.
