I have a 2003 Raptor I just got and have only rode it around our parking lot 4-5 time for 10-15 minutes at a time. Every time I go to shut it off it make a LOUD noise. It seems to run fine just the noise when shutting done(it does this 85% of the time) Brought it home yesterday and was pulling into garage and it seemed like it wanted to die jerking and bucking...stalled..I can't get it to start again it cranks and cranks but no start. I recharged the battery same thing. After awhile of trying to start I get the noise like when it was shutting down just not as loud. Any ideas on what to look for? check your spark plug. It might be fouled out. Does it have gas? Is the gas getting to the engine?

 

lol the LOUD noise is called a backfire and yea cheaking your plugs would be good make sure your gass is on too

 

Ok I changed the plug it seemed to be alittle fouled it started and ran for 5-6 seconds started once more for just a few seconds. Yes the gas was on no it not a backfire more metal to metal around the cylinder(scary). A little gas is leaking out from one of the carbs on the bottem but it seem to be an overflow...not much. I went to recheck oil but this time it just flows out from the check stick all lines seem fine no kinks or bends...???????
