Whenever I do a wheelie on my raptor, it veers to the left.. not fast.. but to fast to keep riding it more than 50 yards.. i checked the tire pressure and adjusted it a hundred times trying to get it just right.. that didn't help.. so then I adjusted the alignment on the back.. it still didn't help.. is there a more accurate way to find when the wheels are straight than the little marks they have on it.. the mark that you go by on the right side is on the opposite side of the metal piece.. so you sort of have to eye ball it..

 

one of your tires might have more tread and hooking up better than the other tire?

 

You may also have a tendancy to put your wait more on one side of your bottom [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Try slightly adjusting your wait more to the right and see if it helps

 

When you adjust your chain and do not watch it you can get your tires out of line with each other and that will cause it and you can tell 100% while you are doing a wheelie

 

tires are different sizes. Happens alot with aftermarket tires. My holeshots do that everytime!

 

i think the weight shift might help.. is there a more accurate way to see if they are straight than the little marks on the swing arm? i don't know how one would have more tread.. they are stock tires and they aren't that old.. about 2 months.. hopefully the weight shift might help.. i won't put my wallet in my pocket.. not like i have anything in it.. but you never know that might throw me off.. and scientificly it is on the right side to make me go left.. ha.. and if thats not it i guess i can tinker with the alignment some more.. hopfully someone knows a good way to align them..

 

u should switch ur back tires around and if it goes to the opposite side then you know its the tires [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

thats not a bad idea.. can i loosen the adjustment bolts all the way with no problems and adjust them equaly? or do those bolts come out at a certain point.. i just don't want to take them out and have to rip it all apart to get it to work right again..

 

This is going to be one of two things. Either the axel is cocked or the stagger is off. Just because the tire pressure is the same does not mean the tire diameter is the same. To check stagger, take a soft tape measure and wrap it around the tire. Make sure they are both the same, if not adjust the tire pressure to adjust the tire size. Don't worry about the tire pressure not being the same. You can grow your tire to an inch or two by doing this. This should solve your problem. If not you need to check if the axel is square in the quad.
