Blaster hydralic brakes?

I was just reading the spec sheet on yamaha's website and for the 2001 Blaster it says for rear brakes Hydralic Disc.And the price for 2001 is $3099 instead of $2999. Did the Blaster finally get a much needed brake overhaul and that's why the price is up? I would like to know because i think I may be getting one in October for my birthday. Roost on!
