Are gold warrior rims just painted?
 

I just bought some extra rear rims for my warrior off of e-bay and they are off an older machine with the gold coloured rims.Can I remove this colour?.,I'm assuming its just paint on the aluminium?

If they are anything like the stock "gold" banshee rims...they are anodized. You can remove the color with ezoff oven cleaner, a good pair of gloves and hours of scrubbing.

Yes I'm sure they are probably the same as the Banshee rims.Wow hours of scrubbing doesn't sound like that much fun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

Yeah....I gave up after a while...do a search on removing anodizing on this website...It seems I remember that there was another method as well.
