So i'm confused about my tire sizes...

Alright i'm about as confused as hell right now.

2001 660r Raptor
Front - AT21 x 7 - 10
Rear - AT20 x 10 - 9

I have no idea what size are on now but they're not stock...

RAXR2's on the front (tall bastards, makes it sit up a little)
RAZR's in the rear

they're getting worn and i can't exactly work my way through any sort of wet dirt.

My friend has realy big Gators on his 400 big bear, i know i cannot support those because it's not exactly MADE for mud tires, but i would like something that could get some bite in the mud... im about to go outside and measure up the stuff and take some pics and such...

I have no clue about tire calculations, what the #'s mean, or anything like that..... what's the biggest i can go in each "catigory" EX rear 20 x 10 - 9, what is each mean?

wow im confused.

brb taking pics and getting #'s for maxxis tires.

So i'm confused about my tire sizes...

The first number is the tire height, the second number is the width, and the third is the rim size that the tire fits.

So 21 x 7 x 10 = Heighth x Width x rim diamiter.

He explained the dimensions right but if your going to be going through alot of mud I would recommend going up to a 22" tire in the back but leave the fronts the same. With the bigger tire you'll get better sidewall traction and more floatation, it'll be much improved over those 20's.

You should check out the new Maxxis Holeshot H-D rear tires, they will work great in all conditions!

Anther alternitive I found for tires is your local Discount Tire store. They cary a lot of different brands like GBC and were actualy a few dolars cheaper per tire than anywhere I could find online.
