Where Should I Be?????

I just removed the drop-in K&N filter and installed the billet adaptor plate with K&N that bolts to the carbs without the airbox. Please let me know how many sizes I should jump these jets up to or what I should start with. I am running an E series slip on and air filter with no box. I am at 0 elevation here. I had 144/146 in it before with the drop-in and airbox and it was a little lean. I am using the Dynojet kit, so please let me know if I may be going over 150, because that is the largest size in the box and I have to order them, because nobody around here has them. I also need you to verify that DJ sizes go up in increments of 5 after 150, that way, I'll know what to order. I am getting the 25 pilots for sure just in case.

Also, PM me if you want a drop-in K&N filter. It is in great shape, but doesn't have the foam seal for the airbox. I will trade for intake boots. I need the small one for sure. I noticed that it was ripped when I took it apart to rejet.

Thanks,
1LeSSRaptor

I'm running UNI dual stage filters with outerwears, no airbox (sixsixT setup), 620' elevation, 25 pilots and 160/165 DJ with needle on 3rd clip. I think if I had K&N filters I would be a step richer. The jets are fairly reasonable, so I got everything up to 180.

So, after 150, the jets go by increments of 5, right? Where did you get your jets, because most dealerships here act like they've never seen a jet before in their lives. I don't want them to mix me up with a different type. Did you get them from DJ? That's a pretty big jump from 144/146 to 160/165. Does no box make that much of a difference in power?

Thanks

Direct from Dynojet: 800-992-4993 They cost me $2 each. Of course freight was $4.50. They go in 5's from 150 up. You may not need to go that high since your at zero elevation and it's always warm there. But better to start rich and work back.

I appreciate it. I just ordered the 25 pilots, jets from DJ 155-180, and I already have the jet kit that covers up to 150, ordered the intake boot that I needed and I now have the Pro Flow intake that I ordered. If all goes good, I'll have everything in by tuesday and will have it together and working good by the weekend. I made some slight changes to the intake to make it run a lot better. I'll post newer pics when I'm done with it all. Thanks
