686 piston info please:
I see that weisco now makes a 686 raptor piston, which is 2 overbore. I want to know if i can go this much on a stock sleeve, or if i need another one pressed in. Also, with that piston, and a stage one hotcam, will i have to rejet? thanks. oh, and what are some power estimates?

686 piston info please:
What are you running now, 100.5mm? You might get away without jetting, but it will probably take a tweak or two.
Since your cam and compression arent changing, hp increase will be minimal, but you will get a boost. |

686 piston info please:
102mm (686 cc) is the max bore on a stock raptor sleeve. It's no problem go for it.
If you wear that cylinder out later, complete used cylinders are selling on ebay for about $100. Been there done that. |
