Holy crap this thing is powerful!!!!!

Ok, here's the story ... I was in Terra Nova this weekend (see pics for the pits in Terra Nova) and on my back home decided to stop into one of the sand pits on my way out of town ... there were a bunch of young fellas there on their various bikes, all yammi's as it happened.

There were 2 blasters, 3 warriors one Rappy and on YFZ LE all black [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I was scooting around the pit for a bit and stopped to talk to the raptor owner and commented on the YFZ .. it belonged to a buddy of his .. when the YFZ came and stopped over by us I complimented him on his ride and just bascialyl commented on the fact that they seemed to be savage machines. He then offered me to take it for a spin .. who was I to refuse??? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

The only mod that I know he has is the gytr system, so it's plenty loud.

I never got out of 2nd gear at all, but did notice that in slow turns she was kinda boggy .. but came alive VERY quickly when I got on the gas. I can honesly say I never noticed the seat being hard, as I don't think I sat on it at all ... LOL

I found that over choppy sand it rode kinda rough, like the suspension was too stiff, but that may just have been how he had it setup. I did a couple of jumps on it, no big ones, and the landing was awesome. Cushy and smooth is how I'd describe it.

The one thing I found disconcerting about the machine was that it was difficult to tell if the nose was up in the air, and I got a bit of a fright on a hill climb when I goosed the throttle and lifted the front .. YIKES!! the front just comes up so easily and effortlessly (is that a word?? )

I made a couple of quick passes where I held her open, just to feel the pull and it was amazing to say the least.

I returned the bike to it's owner, popped my shoulders back in their sockets [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] and thanked him for letting me ride it.

What amazed me most was I was able to get back on my Warrior and still enjoy the ride. And didn't have to think about it tipping over backwards on me on a hill climb .. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] LOL

I'd like to have some of that power in my Warrior tho .. but I'd really have like to have had more time to fool around on it ..

All-in-all, a very nice bike. I'd recommend riding one to just about anyone who wants a rush [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] .. just pin the throttle and hang on for dear life!!! LOL

Ahhh I don't think so .. at nearly $10,000 plus taxes (that's Canadian $$) I won't be rushing out anywhere to buy one of those. Now if I could sneak an engine and suspension off of one to put on my Warrior .. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
