It must be the very low center of gravity and easy sliding ability of the banshee, but these new 450s are sitting pretty low for a 4 stroke and should slide pretty good also, I'd love to test out one of these 450s and see how good they really handle.

Zimraptor- Show me in my first post where I said that the banshee was "pure" duner...you cant because I never said that, dont put words into my mouth. What I did say was that the "yfz = pure mx" and that is because Yamaha designed that bike with the mx track in mind, does that mean that people will not trail ride the yfz...of course not. As far as the banshee is concerned, yes you could (and people do) mod them into good mx bikes, but the banshee is most at home in the dunes.....that is why I said "banshee = dunes" I never said "pure duner". I go to a local mx track 1-2 times a month and have been doing so for the past 2 years and in that time I have only seen 1 banshee out on the track. What you usually do see are a lot of 400exs, z400s, yfzs', 450rs', and a few other quads (blaster, 300ex, raptors, 250r, etc.) but rarely any banshees.....and why is that, because the banshee is at its best in the sand.....whether its dunes or just a sand pit, that is where the banshee shines. Consider yourself educated.

Plus like most hondas they make you feel like your sitting on the fron wheels. If any one knows what I mean. the 300ex is a great example of this.
ALSO THE KICKER ALMOST BROKE MY LEG. honda guys can have that pos.

the only R that I have ridde was completely stock.........
power felt ok.......nothing too out standing........but the front end pushed too much.........I like the Predator MUCH better than the R.......regaurdless of weight

compared to the banshee the r is very tippy and the r does seem to push alot into the corners- someone mentioned that they go to fast into corners on the r because its so smooth? to me the r was rough causing me to have to go slower rather than to fast.
