Does anyone have any experience with this cdi or cdi's in general. Is it worth the money to get a few more rev's?
Thanks for the help!

When you say the bottom what do you mean? the rod and crank? and what kind of performance is expected from this, because thats alota damn work for a little bit more over rev.
Thanks

what are your mods on your yfz. I bet there is something else out there that would give you better power. I dont have the cdi and i dont plan to. I just dont see the need.

Oh just the basic stuff, FMF Factory 4 system, K&N with no lid.
It sounded like an easy bolt on part to give you some more revs but I don't wanna have my lower end granade because of it.

I ran it on mine and it was fine. THe bottom end and valve springs are not an issue.

yeah but did it make that much of a difference to you?

I would go with the -4 flywheel from trailtech for better performance gain. The prices should be close.

Does the -4 Flywheel lose any tork? It seems like you would'nt really be gaining any power from that, maybe just faster revs.
Does anyone else have any experience with CDI's on YFZ's
Thanks for the help!

I have the rev box in my Rappy 660 and the engine seems to be fine. I've only had the Rap for a month though. All the performance upgrades came on it.
