I was just letting everyone know that I have wanted a banshee bad for a year now. Well I finally got yesterday a 1998 banshee with all the goodies no smoking no nothing just a beautiful fast banshee. Well long story short that thing broke me and broke me for good. In 5th gear wide open in my field haulin as I hit this berm that I ride my other quads and my bikes out on and I hit my front brakes just a little with my rears and the front tire turned and dug in flippin me end over end a bout 4 full rotations. Broke my upper a-arm and one front shock and of course destroyed those junky msr handlebars. I guess I'm not even going to fix maybe part it out or sell it as is. I was just letting everyone know about my experience with the banshee I've wanted forever

Sounds like a bad wreck. It's good that you are ok, but if the banshee is what you have always wanted, then why are you so easy to get rid of it?

One of my friends crashed his Banshee right after he bought it. It is a huge change from a 4 stroke, you have to respect the power. I would chalk it up as a learning experience and try again.

Really it's that I spent all my money I've saved for it and those parts are kinda expensive. I love the speed and it's way mor aggressive than the lt The money is more of a factor. I'm taking pics right now to post

I think its actually more dangerous to have a slower bike and then move up to a banshee than it is to start on a banshee. If you start on a slower atv, you will try to ride the banshee the same way you did the old quad at wot. If you start on a banshee, you will respect the power from the start, or at least after your first scare.

I can help you out.
I have the A- arm, shock and a aftermarket handlebar that I will sell you to get you running again. They are all off my 2000 Banshee which I am upgrading the suspension and rebuilding. They are in good condition. You will be riding in no time.
