Well I have always been a big Honda fan but ive been really thinking about it lately and Yamaha is really making some KICK AZZ TOYS.The Raptor is truley going to be the king of sport quads but lets take a look at a few other of Yamahas toys. This year I got into jetsking and did a lot of reseach before bying my first jetski.I ended up bying the 2000 Yamaha gp1200r.What a machine.Say good bye to Sea doo.Sea Yaa.A friend of mine has a 2000 yamaha snowmobile and that thing must dominate the winter trails also. And what about the Yamaha street and dirt bikes.Kick azz also.I really wish Honda would wakeup and compete and make a jetski and a quad wt some real ***** but until then anyone wanna buy a 2000 400ex.

How do you like that jet ski. 155 HP cant beat that. I was thinking of buying one for next summer if I make enough $$$ co-oping as a ME in the spring. Honda has some nice street bikes too. The CBR600 is a lot more comfortable for taller riders (im almost 6'5") than a R6, but nothing beats the R1 oh yea!! I agree honda should have made the 400ex motor a little better. Their fast, but can be a lot faster. A lot of people will be selling their hondas for the Raptor.

Yeah, Yamaha is kickin it. I just learned that Yamaha and Toyota are working together now. This past spring Toyota bought a 5% share of Yamaha Motors for approx. $98,000,000 and Yamaha bought half a million shares of Toyota.

I like Yamaha, have owned several of their motorcycles. Yamaha mountain snowmobiles (mountain max) are not the fastest, Polaris is. Their trail sleds are pretty fast.

Yamaha does make some great stuff and the Raptor hopefully will be one of them. But SeaDoo is the king of the water by far.

Hello X250 Dude,

Where in Branford are you from? And where do you ride in Connecticut. I'm just curious, maybe we can hook up and go riding sometime. I'm always looking for a riding partner.

You are talking Jetski, Sport bike and Snowmobile

But, did you see the new YZ426F and the new YZ250F
The new YZ250F makes 41hp at 13000rpm.

They said that in the 125cc 2stroke category,
the 250 4 stroke will be the new rocket !!

Yamaha is one of the best !!

I was going to buy a QUAD, but I think a will
buy it next year and buy the WR250F this year !!

My dealer says that Yamaha sales are growing so fast that they can't keep up. Yamaha was up more than 30% last year and the dealers who only sell Yamaha are having a hard time because of limited supply. They say that they could sell twice as many as they actually make.

ccarpe1,why do you say sea do is the best for the water, theres not one stock xp on the water that can touch the gp1200r.The Kawi ultra 150 will be close on glass, but in the chop the Yammi will surf by all of the compatition.Read all of the different watercraft boards on the web.The yamaha motors last up to 400 hours if you keep them stock. Why do you think most places that rent jetskis rent Yamaha and not sea doo?Maybe because they dont like rebuilding the moters every 50 hours of use.Sea doos are junk and if you dont beleive me just surf the web and sea for yourself.I didnt just go out and bye a yamaha because I liked the way they looked.I bought after doing reseach. And after talking to many people and reading many things on the web Yamaha marine moters are built to last and go fast. SEA YOU

You got that Banshee attitude. It's not about the speed, it's about jumping boat wakes or surf. Anybody can go fast. The Kawasaki Ultra150 is very fast but does not jump worth a crap. There's not much like hitting a boat wake from a 40' Carver or SeaRay and busting a superman or nac-nac 15' or so in the air. These new ski's are getting huge....the DS650.....or a Banshee, 400ex or Raptor?. Plus I am a little biased and a die-hard Seadoo customer.......come on Raptor's.
