Raptor Won't Start

When I try to start my bike it makes somewhat of a grinding noise. The noise is coming out of the little black box under the seat with the fuses in it. Any ideas of what this may be and how I can fix it?

thanks in advance

I had a similar problem too. It came from where i had the fuses. wiggle it! sometimes it gets loose so when you try starting the bike its not getting enough juice. so take off the seat wiggle it while starting it up. let me know what happens!

same prob here. just wiggle it, check the battery connections and letter eat. i still have a prob with that it sometimes wont do anything and i have to hold the starter and jiggle the wires to get her to start. might be the same thing might not...

You guys all have the starter problem, it is very popular for the raptors. I had it fixed and the mechanic told me my starter was mest up.
