You know what I did a post just like this and nobody answered either. So if i was to guess on how fast one went then I would say 69-75ish. Not quite sure.

The Honda 250r was one of the slowest of the 250's produced. Top speed stock was around 65mph. It made around 29-32 hp in stock form. The Kawaski tecate 250 could run away and hide in drag runs. The LT 250 suzuki was faster stock also.

The 250r lived on and the others disapeared.

The 85 zuki was a dog, the later powervalve models were faster than the honda though. The tecate was the fastest but also had the worst handling imo.

 

I'm kinda going off topic here, but it amazes me how little these forums have changed. I used to read them alot back in 01 and 02. Kids would ask questions like these once a week, and people still answered it. I wish that when new topics were posted, there was an automatic search before the thread is posted to see if theres any info thats already been asked. But, I guess it keeps this place alive, so I ain't complaining[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

What I don't understand is why a lot of pro racers race the Honda 250R's if they are so weak. I've never ridden one, so I don't know what kind of power it has, but please help me understand why they pick the 250R. There has to be some reason.
