Just curious if anyone has heard any rumors on a new big bore quad? Its very unlike Yamaha to be this far behind the game. Most of the time Yamaha is 2 steps ahead. Any input?

Yamaha is usually alittle behind, spends more of their research and design on their street bikes which they are usually ahead.

I was looking at what yamaha was going to come out with this year, but didn't so I bought a Polaris. I would have liked to seen a 750 Grizzly or something like that, I would have probably went with it instead of the Polaris. I like the Polaris, but I also like Yamaha's....great overall machines....

Haven't read any rumors either, but they are usually pretty hush-hush about their new products...

Latley Yamaha has been focusing on their sport quad line up with the addition of the rappy and rap350, yfz450, and the update to the blaster. Things will be getting a little crazy in the next couple of years with the whole 2 stroke issue and all. I would image that the next major change that we see in the quad line-up with be involving the shee. Updated or leaving, one of the two.

its prolly going to chill, until they can see all of the other manufacturers flaws... then theyll drop a bomb... notive honda is chillen aswell, like they did with the 450's... leave it to the 2 old wise, noble companies.

A 450 wolverine would be a real nice addition. Not something I'm interested in, but it would shake up the industry a little.

Already have the Grizzly. Bad price range area to get it. Put the YZF 450 motor in a lightweight 4x4 like the wolverine and price it around the kodiak. Keep the gear ranges a little higher with a decent low 1st and give it a 6 speed transmission.
