When to tune'er Up?

I have only had one ride on my raptor so far but when (in hrs or rides) do you recomend I have the valves looked at and all that dealer stuff. Is it worth taking it to Yamaha or a "do it yourself project"? Thanks!

Right now im trying to work out a jetting issue with my new LTE dual exhaust setup. I got to lean it out some. Then I should be ready to ride.

Woah some Memphis-onians ROCK103 rules...used to live in Jackson myself...

You should have your valves checked* after full break in and then take her in every 6 months to a year afterthat

*You should check everything after break in imo

ROCK 103 does rule!!! Explain full break in. I just want to be clear.

When to tune'er Up?

Break in: seating of rings, clean up of gears/forks, cam/valvetrain breakin, etc. First 10-20 hours of riding typically.
