Help with my Warrior Carb PLEASE!!!
#1
i posted another help topic recently about my carb. heres where my problem is. The gas isnt getting throguh the carb. I sprayed the whole thing down with carb cleaner. The main jet above the floats is clean it shoots out a nice streamy mist. I also sprayed down the entire inside area of the floats and bowl, i sprayed all the tubes out clean. I think my problem tho is in between the floats. The jet inbetween them is really hard to get to. How do i take off my floats? If i cna get them off i can clena out this jet. Its the jet that the main gas line runs through. Also i heard i might have to readjust my floats. How do i do that? PLEASE guys i really need help. My quad hasnt bene running in over a month and i cant figure this problem out. I dont have the money right now to buy a new carb. please anybody help me.
thanks

I hate to ask, but is the fuel line turned on? Several times I have forgot to check, and work on my quad for hours before thinking the fuel is off.
If not that unscrew the drain screws on the carb and see if it drains any fuel.

blow through the fuel inlet while lifting the floats up and down. When there down air should rush through, then where up it should stop. If its not working you push the little pin out (its held by nothing) that they pivot on and take the float valve assembly apart.

Man this sounds familure!!!! I asked the same (almost) question but did not get much of a reply at the time. Guess I just did it at a time when no one was around that had an answer. No biggie, all of these great guys can not sit around waiting for folks like me to break something!! Anyway, you sound a little like I, first time working on this and not wanting to break somehting. I know I have a lot of lesson learned situations in my past. Well, after I figured it out I updated my origional post for just this reason. Here is the link. At a minimum it may help you get it apart as I tried to be as detailed as I could:
