Lexus is a division of Toyota. What the heck does Toyota have to do with Yamaha?!?!?

I know that lexus is made by toyota but i heard someonbe on a different forum saying that lexus owned yamaha and i just wanted to know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Their symbols aren't even close. The Lexus is a circle w/ an "L" in the middle & Yamaha is 3 tuning forks that form a triangle. As far as the owning, beats me!

well, Lexus is part of Toyota and Toyota DID have that Yamaha edition truck.... maybe that's it

yamaha makes or plays a very big part in some of there engine manufactering. My toyota matrix's engine has the yamaha name stamped on the block.
