Well I feel stupid- Ive been bragging about how my 01 Raptor tranny has never had a problem Until NOW & it jus grinds when the clutch is let out soo for those who have had to fix this problem w/o taken to sum ripp off dealership how much does it cost to fix it and what is typically the problem with tha 01 Raptor trannys

Please give me sum advice or any info you know

When they were under warrenty, the shop would replace the trans for free, but I have no idea what you can do now.

Just got finished riding a trail and was on the way back to tha ride when all of the sudden it just started grinding, however it could be the front sprocket b/c it is worn down to jus 13 nubbs and the chain was tight about 3 weeks ago and now it is too lose all of the sudden so it might just need a new front sprocket and a new chain I hope but then again it might need tranny work as well as a front sprocket and chain

SAME THING HAPPENED TO THIS CAT I WAS RIDING WITH, HIS 400EX ALL OF THE SUDDEN STARTED GRINDING BAD......COME TO FIND OUT HIS FRONT SPROCKET NUT CAME LOOSE.

CHECK THAT OUT....ITLL BE ALOT EASIER FIX THAN A TRANNY.

well the Front Sprocket nut is tight but the spacer may be shot

COULD BE THE PROBLEM, TRY THAT FIRST BEFORE RIPPIN THE MOTOR DOWN.
