Raptor 350 (where's my 6th gear)
a little help - I can't seem to shift into sixth gear sometimes - what could this be (quad only has about 3 total hrs on-it) and it doesn't happen all the time - but twice today it wouldn't go in????[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

happend to me on my wolverine once... It must be a problem with the yfm350 motors.

Its still in break in so the motor is getting hot. Wait until after breakin and your first oil change, i had that problem with 3rd gear, but the addition of an oil cooler and amsoil helped out alot.

you didnt specify it being a different gear you said you had the same thing happen to you. If you dont want people to think your talking jibberish then learn to express yourself more fluently in the english languige "partner"

Yes I know I have to break the bike in my fault i ment 30 hr and have already done oil changes but havnt tried amsoil (my buddy sells the stuff too lol)but ill try that - by the way velociraptor350 nice quad- [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] just got those same powermadds sweet[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Hey Sobrst,
I have had similar problems. My bike also has 30-40 hrs on it. And I have done oil changes. I noticed it happen a lot when I was in higher elevations. Like when we went to Greenridge State Forest and we were all the way on the top of the mountain. I would hit 5th and try for 6 and it wouldn't go. |
