Warrior doesn't work
I went riding with all my friends in this pit down the street from our houses, when i came back i cleaned it and drove it in my shed and parked it. The next day, i came out to try to start it and it wasnt working what so ever. When i hit the button it doesn't even turn over, it makes 1 buzzz sound n thats it, for every time you click the button it makes 1 buzzz sound. i tried to jump it from the silonoid but thats not working either, it doesn't make a sound at all from that. Would it be the silonoid or do you think it might be the CDI. iam not going to buy it unless iam totally and 100% sure because last time someone told me my battery was dieing and it wasn't starting quick b.c of the coil and i bought that and it didn't make a differance. It ended up being my spark plug.

Warrior doesn't work
try to bump start it. if it starts then you have an electrical prob. but i'm guessing from what you listed you forsure have one.

Warrior doesn't work
I usually get that buzzing when my battery is crapping out. Try to jump it if you have a portable battery jumper, then start checking everything else. Right now mine has no spark AGAIN which sucks!

Warrior doesn't work
Quick check for you ..
pull your start motor out .. involves removing 3 bolts on the casing and removing the wires. Then use a couple of small jumper cables and test the motor with a 12V battery .. that eliminates the starting motor as the cause. It's very quick and easy to do. |
Warrior doesn't work
water could have connected the arc of posoitve and neg on your battery and ran it dead. Battery sounds most likely. Charge it up or jump it

Warrior doesn't work
Check the fuse on it. Its under the fender on the left side right next to the battery in a plastic cylindor type thing. That or make sure your conections are all tight and together.

NLWarrior01, what do you mean pull the start motor out? you mean the starter infront of the motor? What should i do after than?

Warrior doesn't work
SmokeyZ, me and you are in the exact same prediciment. First of all i got a new battery and it still does it, 2nd if a fuse is blown it will do nothing not even click. I think it is my starter also. Hey NLWarrior01, if you pull the starter out isnt alot of work to but it back in like on the right pinion gears??

Warrior doesn't work
Nope, not on the Warrior. It really couldn't be easier. If you can change a sparkplug on the Warrior you can pull the starting motor. It's probably one of the easiest things I've worked on with the Warrior. I've found it more trouble take a wheel off than taking off the starter motor.
As for what to do once you have that done, you need either a 12V power supply, or a good 12V battery and a couple of small wire jumpers. Connect the motor to the battery or power supply and see if it spins freely .. if it does, your motor should be good. Try it a few times to eliminate the possibility of bad spots on the commutator. What happens sometimes with the Warrior start motor is that the end gear of the motor is in the engine oil. Inside the starter there's an oil seal and that breaks down sometimes allowing oil into the starter, and that messes up the electrical. My alternator guy had to rebuilt my commutator because oil had caused so much arcing. |
